We’re up to March 3, 2022, when I launched this episode featuring my painted layout with Woodland Scenics Earth Colors™ Liquid Pigments. I’ll be totally honest, I was a little underwhelmed by the lack of vibrance in these colors. I totally get it for a natural look that everyone is going for in building scenic layouts, but I was still disappointed that that wasn’t more “energy” in the base coloring. Once the color palette went beyond brown with landscaping and lighting, things looked much better to me. This was still a huge accomplishment for me personally, since I had never painted anything like this before.
